The last day of February. One of the most beautiful days in Washington, in fact. And here I am, trying to catch up on everything that slipped by me this month before March arrives. My highschool superlative: Voted Most Likely To Get Things Done At The Last Minute. I bet everyone would be relieved to know I'm still living up to my award. Case in point. My blog. Jamming everything I've been up to since my last post. But does it even matter? All it demonstrates is that I've been to St. Louis, I celebrated the Seahawks Superbowl Championship with strangers, I've been outside. And oh hey, it snowed. But I can assure you, it hasn't been all fun.
I want to write out the truth. That I've been neglecting photography for the past 4 months. I've been putting it off because I don't know where the "spark" went. "Is this even for me?" "Do I even have anything to offer?" are questions that constantly run through my mind. I'll figure something out. It'll come to me at the last minute, just like my superlative predicted. But in the meantime, I'm going to take my dog for a walk by the water because it makes me happy. I just wanted to tell you the truth. But don't worry - I'll figure out what my magnum opus will be soon enough.
